New children's potting shed themed play area designed to educate little people about our plot to plate ethos. Play kitchen in a potting shed environment with wheelbarrows and a range of garden tools to occupy smaller hands.
In October 2015, The Right Worshipful Mayor of Ripon Councillor Pauline HcHardy and Michael Fish (gardening expert and journalist) officially opened the new potting shed play area during Apple Day. The play area is aimed at 3 - 7 year olds, there are gardening tools, wheelbarrows, pots, raised beds and a kitchen with oven encouraging "plot to plate" play and education.
